Heterogeneous Multitype Fleet Green Vehicle Path Planning of Automated Guided Vehicle with Time Windows in Flexible Manufacturing System

In this study, we present and discuss a variant of the classical vehicle routing problem (VRP), namely heterogeneous multitype fleet green automated guided (AGV) with time windows (HFGVRPTW) applied in workshops flexible manufacturing systems (FMS). Specifically, based on analysis AGV body structure motion state, transport distance energy consumption are selected as two optimization objectives. According to characteristics application context problem, paper designs hybrid genetic algorithm large neighborhood search (GA-LNS) considering farthest insertion heuristic. GA-LNS is improved by increasing local ability enhance solution optimal quality. Extensive computational experiments which generated from Solomon’s benchmark instances real case FMS designed evaluate demonstrate efficiency effectiveness proposed model algorithm. The experimental results reveal that compared using traditional homogeneous fleet, transportation mode has huge energy-saving potential workshop intralogistics.
